“Despite the sanctions, the company continues to create jobs for all, who needs to find work in such branch. Nowadays company gives stable workplace for 170 people. The goal for near future is to create up to 350 workplaces. The salary is gradually increasing. There are also plans to expand the production area. I instructed our development institutions to get involved in resolving this issue,” the head of the region noted.
“Every year we invest both in specialists and in the development of infrastructure. Previously, there was one shop, last year another building was rented, and almost all heavy equipment for track work from all over Russia was concentrated here. Today, the main strategy is to enter the production of track equipment. We are considering the topic of maintaining stations, cleaning platforms - for this we made new tractors and mini-loaders. The company has two design bureaus that are now dealing with the issue of import substitution.
Today we are ready to replace 90-95% of the imported components, so regardless of whether there will be a supply or not, we solve this issue as much as possible within the country,” said Egor Lukyanov, General Director of Engineering Service-Putmash LLC.
Sergey Vasin, head of the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation, said that the company had already invested more than 320 million rubles in the production process. Currently, the company is actively looking for new personnel and is ready to employ about 100 people. The salary in our company is above the average for the region and the staff always undergoes professional training.
