The Ulyanovsk region veteran basketball team, supported by Engineering Service - Putmash company and personally its General Director Egor Alekseevich Lukyanov took part in the Open Russian Basketball Championship.
The competitions were held in Arzamas, Nizhny Novgorod region from June 8 to 12, 2024. Such a tournament unites the basketball teams from all over the country, consisting of 40 and 50+ ex-professional athletes and basketball amateurs who are still fond of this spectacular game.
The men's and women's veteran teams from the Ulyanovsk region showed a solid, mind-blowing game, worthily fighting with their opponents. Once again, both teams proved that the strength of mind, but not muscles is a key to success in sports.
Commenting on the performance of the team, Maria Isaeva, team coordinator, not only highlighted the players' great performance, but also especially thanked “Engineering Service - Putmash” for the support provided to the team. "I would like to say huge thanks to our big friends from Engineering Service-Putmash company for their kind assistance, which let us participate in this event, which is so important for us, for their attentive attitude to the sports development in the Ulyanovsk region, for promoting an active, healthy lifestyle among Ulyanovsk citizens of all ages" - she was quoted as saying.
