Self-propelled brush cutter
(for track maintenance)

Designed for cutting the trees with a trunk diameter of up to 150 mm at a distance of up to 10 meters from the track axis. The vehicle is capable to remove the bushes by spraying the chemical reagents. Such an approach makes it possible to:

• Combine the functions of two machines (SP-93 and rails-cleaning machine);
• Reduce the customer’s expenditures incurred on the fleet maintenance;
• Increase the machine involvement coefficient and optimize the staff involved by combining the functions of two different machines;
• Reduced the customer's costs as the machine's re-use time is increased since the vehicle simultaneously cuts the tress by cutting and spraying the special chemical substances.

The brush-cutter is unified with the machine fleet operated by the Central Directorate of Infrastructure of Russian Railways, JSC. Developed based on the top European companies’ experience, the bush-cutter is to be manufactured in Russia by ESPM on its own.

The machine consists of 90% of locally-made parts. It will be maintained and supported by the Russian companies’, independent of any subcontractors.
